Turtles By The Book - 365
The daily Creativity Project, created by Noah Scalin, has turned to Turtles. I will use the suggestions in the Creativity Journal for each day, and to make it more challenging, it has to have something to do with a turtle.

Day 001 - Play-Dough Turtle
The first step is the hardest, so start small today and make something that fits in the palm of your hand using only the materials in your immediate environment.
The first thing that came to my mind when I read that was Play Dough. It was easy to shape and change the color. So we busted out the plastic tools and Play Dough bag, and I got started. I mixed a little pale yellow with grass-green and got a great lime-green. I used the lime green for the entire turtle, but changed the textures a little with some tools. The picture of this tiny turtle was taken right beside my bathroom window, if any of you were wondering about the towel in the background.
Tomorrow should be easy -- I have to use my favorite animal for inspiration! I get to make whatever kind of turtle I want!
